Yosemite National Park Hello, I am a graduate student at the University of California, Merced studying for my Ph.D. in Computer Science. This site presents links to several
projects that I have been a part of as well as personal research
interests and publications. As with all research, it is work in
progress, so please feel free to drop me an email or comment on
anything you find posted on my site.
- My research is highly interdisciplinary, involving elements from molecular biophysics and machine learning
to better understand the structure and function of proteins and other
molecules involved in the micro-machinery of living organisms.
- Other research that I am involved in combines elements of psychology, artificial intelligence, and cognitive neuroscience
with the goal of understanding more precisely how the neural circuits
in our heads can produce the intelligent (and unintelligent!) behaviors
that allow us to function from day-to-day.
